Good Standing. Certificate Service
Certificate of good standing, ordered for you.
Banks, lenders, and out-of-state registrations regularly ask for a certificate of good standing (some states call it a certificate of existence or status). We confirm your entity is in good standing with the state, order the certificate, and deliver it by email, with the state's own fee itemized separately.
$49
+ your state's certificate fee at cost

What's included
- Standing check against your state's records first, if the entity isn't in good standing, we tell you what the state requires instead of selling you a certificate that would fail
- Certificate ordered from your state (most states issue electronically within 1–2 business days; some mail)
- State certificate fee passed through at cost, itemized
- Delivered by email the day the state issues it
- Common uses: business bank loans, foreign qualification in another state, contract and licensing requirements
You can order a certificate directly from your state for just the state's fee. Our fee covers the standing check, the ordering, and delivery, the done-for-you option.
How it works
From request to filed.
- 1
Tell us your business
Your legal name and state, usually all we need to locate your entity in the state's records.
- 2
We check your standing first
We verify the state actually shows your entity in good standing before ordering anything. If it doesn't, we tell you what the state needs, we won't sell you a certificate that would be rejected.
- 3
We order the certificate
Once standing is confirmed, we request the official certificate from your state and pay the state's fee, passed through at cost.
- 4
You get it by email
Most states issue electronically within 1–2 business days; we forward it the day it's issued, ready for the bank or agency that asked.
Questions
Straight answers.
What is a certificate of good standing?+
It's an official document from your state confirming your business legally exists and is current on its required filings and fees. Some states call it a certificate of existence, status, or authorization. It's what a third party relies on to confirm your company is active and compliant.
When will I actually need one?+
Most often for a business bank loan or account, registering (foreign-qualifying) to do business in another state, or satisfying a contract, license, lease, or investor request. It's usually needed on a deadline, which is exactly why our standing-check-first step matters.
What if my business isn't in good standing?+
We tell you before ordering, and what the state requires to fix it, usually a missed annual report or an unpaid fee. We won't charge you for a certificate the state would refuse to issue; often the fix is a filing we can also help with.
What does it cost?+
Our service fee is $49, plus your state's own certificate fee, typically $5–$50 depending on the state, passed through at cost and itemized separately. You see both figures before you pay.
Can I order it directly from the state myself?+
Yes, for just the state's fee. Our fee covers the standing check, the ordering, and same-day forwarding when the state issues it, the done-for-you option for when you need it right and on time.
